In order to use tension rods in your window, measure the width of your window frame, and attach brackets. Then, install the tension rods as directed by your home improvement store.
To make sure that your tension rods are locked in place, you can use two wrenches or pliers. One wrench will grip the tension rod on one side, while the other will pull it towards you. Be careful not to push the rod away, as it may cause injury. You can also use an iron-on hem tape to make the process zero-sew.
